Mesotherapy and the French Secret

Have you ever wondered why French women look so radiant, elegant and vibrant???

We know that the French are responsible for some of the best skin care products on the market but one of the best secrets of all is MESOTHERAPY.

What is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a medical technique that was developed in France in 1952 to improve circulation and treat conditions like rheumatology, sports traumas, infectious and vascular diseases. It has subsequently proved to be a very effective cellulite treatment and also is also good for fluid retention, lymphatic drainage, localised fat reduction and skin rejuvenation. Mesotherapy can also be used for Hair Loss and Sports Injuries including Pain Management. All of which are available exclusively at The New Clinic.

How does Mesotherapy work?

A specially prepared mixture of vitamins, homeopathic ingredients, amino acids, minerals and medications such as Hyaluronic Acid are injected into the problem area. This stimulates the fat cells and causes them to break away from the network of connective tissues in the skin. The excess deposits of fat are then dissolved and excreted through the bloodstream by the kidneys and bowel.

At The New You Clinic we use the French method of application. This is a light touch and rapid motion of a tiny needle which is used to place the Mesotherapy serum under the top layer of your skin. This treatment is not painful and will leave your skin glowing, radiant, rejuvenated, lifted and toned!

90% of women suffer from cellulite. Men also suffer from it too!

Cellulite can make some women feel very self-conscious, particularly in summer when long skirts and trousers just aren’t comfortable. Over the years’ women have spent a fortune on creams and gels and it can be very frustrating when even the strictest of diets don’t seem to help.

 How does Mesotherapy reduce Cellulite?

Mesotherapy improves the circulation and drainage as well as shrinking fat cells. It stimulates the mesoderm, the middle layer of the skin which helps to disburse the cellulite.

What is Mesotherapy?

Originally a medical technique devised in 1958 by Frenchman Dr Michel Pistor to treat such conditions as Rheumatology, Sports Traumatology, Infectious diseases, Vascular diseases and the improvement of circulation. Mesotherapy has subsequently been extremely successful in the treatment of aesthetic conditions. It has subsequently proved to be a very effective cellulite treatment and also is also good for fluid retention, lymphatic drainage, localised fat reduction and skin rejuvenation. Mesotherapy is also good for Sports Injuries and Pain Management and also for Hair Loss.

What is the treatment?

Mesotherapy is a medical treatment that involves injecting a specially prepared mixture of vitamins, homeopathic ingredients, amino acids and medications into the problematic area. This stimulates the fat cells and causes them to break away from the network of connective tissues in the skin. The excess deposits of fat are then dissolved and excreted through the bloodstream by the kidneys and bowel.

Each treatment takes about ten to fifteen minutes and is not painful. After the treatment you can return to normal activities. The addition of Vitamin C to the mixture encourages the tone and quality of the overlying skin. Clients and patients can if they wish to have the area to be treated numbed first by using an anaesthetic cream.

Treatments may be carried out immediately after an initial consultation at which point you will be informed as to how many treatments you will require. A Mesotherapy treatment for cellulite reduction can take up to 6 treatments before you see fantastic results. You didn’t develop cellulite overnight so; you won’t see the results over night!

MESOTHERAPY AS A SKIN REJUVENATING TREATMENT

Mesotherapy in the treatment of ageing skin aims to replace minerals, vitamins and amino acids that are found in lower levels in skin as we age. Another newer procedure is to boost levels of hyaluronic acid in the skin. This is another important component of the skin that helps to maintain firmness and texture.

As the skin ages, levels of hyaluronic acid decrease, and it is claimed that injecting more hyaluronic acid into the dermal layers (just below the surface of the skin) helps to stimulate more collagen production, which, in turn, improves skin tone and helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

This treatment can also be used on your Décolletage, Neck and Hands.

Mesotherapy for Localised Stubborn Fat

Regardless of whether someone is overweight or not, many people are troubled by stubborn areas of localised fat which can be difficult to get rid of, even with a sensible diet and an active lifestyle. Mesotherapy can help to remove these stubborn fatty areas.

In women, fat cells on the lower half of the body store fat around 6 times more readily than those on the upper half. They also release fat around six times less easily so this can make weight loss from the lower half terribly difficult if not almost impossible.

Mesotherapy works by modifying the makeup of fat cells and by blocking the signals that tell our bodies to store fat. This simultaneously triggers the release of stored fat in the areas treated. Vitamins and amino acids are used to tighten sagging skin while other agents are used to remove areas of fat, restoring a more youthful and more toned appearance to the body’s contours.

Mesotherapy for Pain Management and Sports Injuries

Mesotherapy can be used to effectively treat Muscle Soreness and Inflammation due to injury. It can also help to speed up healing time. Overuse of the muscles can cause inflammation to the muscle, which can be extremely painful and healing can be a lengthy process.

Mesotherapy can effectively treat musculoskeletal problems including tendinitis, arthritis, sprains, muscle strain, spinal disorders and back pain.

Mesotherapy is a simple French therapeutic technique that is widely used in Europe. It involves a local injection of medication into the mesoderm, as close to the site of injury as possible. It is used primarily for its analgesic, anti-inflammatory and muscle-relaxing effects.

In sports medicine, it can be of benefit to players with soft tissue injuries, who naturally aim to be able to return to play at the earliest opportunity. Sports trauma is often implicated in the treatment of soft tissue injuries. In most cases, the congestive and inflammatory reaction of these tissues before healing justifies taking pain-killing and anti-inflammatory medication.

Mesotherapy involves the delivery of small amounts of FDA approved medications (non-cortisone, non-steroid) via local injections instead of ingesting or injecting intramuscularly or intravenously much larger dosages of medications, which are filtered in the liver and kidney and travel throughout one’s body.

The New You Clinic specialise in these injections and is the only clinic in Ireland to offer this treatment for Pain Management and Sports Injuries.

Mesotherapy for Eyes

Are you looking tired all the time and looking older than you are?? Have you got bags and dark circles under your eyes??

Mesotherapy is the safest, affordable and knife less way to get rid of those bags.

Tiny homeopathic micro injections are injected into the fat cells that sit under your eyes. The fat is then dissolved and removed naturally by your body leaving you looking refreshed with minimal discomfort.
