PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma. Platelets are full of Growth Factors which regulate the life of any cell in the body. All body organs possess quiescent stem cells and once activated can lead to the formation of healthy new tissue. PRP uses your own Plasma which has been separated from your Red Blood Cells which are activated and then injected back into your body.
Because these are your own cells there is no chance of rejection, infection or allergy. This amazing treatment allows so many areas of the body to be treated and all at the same time. Only Plasma Rich in Growth Factors allows for the stimulation of the cell healing process in many different tissues.
The ageing process is like a domino effect which happens in Bone, Muscle, Fat and Skin. Once the process has started, the only treatment to address all four layers is PRP.
Platelet Rich Plasma can be used on any part of the body to treat any of the following plus so much more.
- Stretch Marks
- Acne Scars
- Eyebrow Hairloss
- Sports Injuries
- Spinal and Orthopaedic
- Vagina Rejuvenation
- Stress and Urinary Incontinence
- Breast Volume Correction
- Facelift & Skin Tightening
- Non Healing Wounds – Ulcers
How does PRP work?
A small amount of blood is drawn from the patient into a sterile tube in the exact same manner as a standard blood sample. The tube containing a patient’s blood is placed into a centrifuge and spun to separate the plasma and platelets from the other blood components. After a few minutes, the plasma and concentrated platelets are removed from the same tube and re-introduced into the patient at the site of injury, scars, skin, obvious lines or wrinkles. Using a small sterile needle, you inject the PRP in and around the desired site. The treatment lasts 30 to 45 minutes.

PRP is 100% NATURAL and 100% SAFE. As the Platelets are from your own Blood, there is NO risk of infection or rejection.
